Chi Sun Beach BBQ
Today Chi Sun organized a beach BBQ for our residential college. The bus picked us up at 3:30pm and it took about forty minutes to get to Shek O (the beach). Only about thirty people attended, out of hundreds and I was surprised that more did not sign up.
I was able to swim for a little bit until BBQ dinner at 6pm, and a group of us swam out to the circular floating rafts (pictured below). The water was decently warm, but very, very salty. As soon as we got out of the water the salt dried and we could see the salt on our skin.
The BBQ part was fun, although I got really hot when cooking my food from the fire as it was still warm outside. Unfortunately there were no chocolate or graham crackers to make s'mores with the marshmallows. The bus picked us up at 9pm, and we were back before 10pm. I am so tired from the past few very busy days, that I am planning on going to sleep early tonight.
