First Day of School
Today was the university's official first day of classes, and while I do not currently have any classes on Thursday's or Fridays, I went to a class that I am thinking of taking (instead of one I am currently enrolled in). After getting to class early, I sat with a couple other exchange students; class was supposed to start at 10:30 am, but by 10:40 the professor hadn't shown up. The class was only about half full, so someone checked and sure enough, class was cancelled. Feeling like a freshman the first day of junior year (full disclosure- I didn't get the email).
For lunch, I ate with a friend on my floor after going to a club fair and signing up for the HKU hiking club. We ate at a "French" cafe on campus, and I was very excited to order pasta with sauce, tomato wedges and pineapple. I will definitely be eating there again.
Mr. Wong's x 2?
A big group of us tried to go to Mr. Wong's for dinner again, but unfortunately were unsuccessful. The place was even more packed (if that's even possible) and we waited forty-five minutes before we all broke off into smaller groups and went our own separate ways.
